On August 10, 1922, in Vienna, Petko Staynov marries Stefanka Mandadjieva,
also from Kazanluk. His future wife has studied music in Viennaq
which helps her considerably during their life together. At the
beginning of 1924, they both return to Kazanluk, where Petko Staynov
revives the local singing society – higher form of amateur art activities,
and energizes the concert performances of its choir and orchestra.

Early in 1927, the Stainov family move to Sofia. Petko Staynov becomes
actively involved in community of the blind, defending their right
to a equal status in society. He becomes a piano teacher at the
Institute for the Blind, initiates the establishment of cultural
institutions for persons with impaired eyesight and supports their
development. |
